It's hard for me to say it's more important than the beginning and the middle, though, because if someone won't read those, they'll never get to the end at all!<br /><br />Anonymous, sorry it felt "rough" for you. It's actually meant to evoke two different words (target, regret), in a way appropriate to the story. It looks at the Character contribution to sotry structure (there's a lot we can learn from Screenwriting, let me tell you). I found it really helpful in understanding how the character must evolve to make the ending a satisfying one.
